Friday Night Charity Event, $20 Ticket

Doors Open at 5 PM, Friday, November 22, 2019.

5-10 PM, Silent Auction TH Games and Other Items

  • Ends at 10 PM Friday with winners announced at Award Ceremony.

6-11 PM, Have a Photo of You and Yours with an Event Branded Photo Backdrop

  • Photo Op. for public with the charity event’s branded backdrop and a TH game of your choice, $5 per photo

6:30 PM, Welcome and Introductions

7-10 PM, Play a Table Hockey Master

  • This is an opportunity to experience tournament level competition.

  • Benefits: Raises $ money for a charity. Audience can see skills. TH company gets a top player to photograph, market and demonstrate their product before an audience and possible use in future publicity. Contact info@WTHA.com for details.
  • Public to pay $10 to play the top TH player for five (5) minutes.
  • If challenger scores a goal gets a goodie bag worth more than his playing fee.

7-10 PM, “Tips and Tricks,” Q&A with a Table Hockey Master

  • $20 for 10 minutes alone with a TH Master to get discuss invaluable tips and tricks in preparation for tournament competition.

7:30-10 PM, Charity Night Tournament Experience, 7:15-10:15 PM

  1. The niche events (previous section) complement an open floor experience for the general audience playing table hockey games.
  2. How we schedule the niche booth events and this open experience is TBD. Likely niche to open the event, then general play. Or, a stoppage at a certain hour for key niche events, e.g. NHL player events (if any).
  3. Corporate / Business / Sponsors – come to play TH

    2. Business teams must be members of the company or family member.
    3. “Buy a Goal” – businesses can buy goals at $50 a goal in advance of games (start a game with the # of goals pre-purchased and added to final score) against other businesses; except in the championship series.

  • See, touch, play and learn about table hockey games over in the Exhibition area (not tournament area) from different manufacturers, “SuperChexx,” made by Innovative Concepts in Entertainment (ICE), “Stiga Playoff,” made by Stiga AB, and “SoHo Tournament Table Hockey” made by SoHo LLC, and possibly more companies
  • Meet and learn about table hockey games with representatives from a variety of manufacturers each making their own style of table hockey games for different audiences and market segments (find and buy a game that meets your desires)
  • Learn about tournament level table hockey competitions across the USA, Canada, European Union, and Eastern Europe (non-EU)
  • Purchase table hockey games at a discount
  • Your attendance and participation raises money for charity
  • Enter raffles for table hockey games

General Admission Fees

General Admission to the tournament for spectators each day to view the tournament $5 per adult (age 18+), $1 per child (ages 10-17) and children under age 10 may enter at no additional cost, i.e. free.

Payable in advance online or at the door. We suggest that you pay online in advance to avoid waiting in line at the door.

2. Saturday – Table Hockey Tournament

Register now! There is a limit to the number of players.

All games are five minutes.

  • Free gift bag for players participating in Saturday’s tournament
  • Have fun playing table hockey with your friends and family
  • All registered players become members of the WTHA, published at WTHA.com, earn points and ranking based by finish in this and future competitions
  • The top 32 players per manufacturer’s game at the end of Saturday’s round-robin tournament are done for the day and qualify for Sunday’s playoffs (at no additional registration cost).
  • Players ranked 33rd or lower per manufacturer’s game and may be limited to 32 players will go into Saturday’s playoffs to compete for the Novice / “B” Division championship.
  • In the playoffs, the champion, second place and third place players will receive an award (e.g. medal, trophy, or plaque) in each of the categories below:
    • General field of players
    • By age (10-15), and
    • Physical challenge

    • Children and teens ages 10-20 the registration fee is $20.

Regular Registration Fees, Tournament Players

Starts Sunday, October 27 through Tuesday, November 12 (ending at midnight). Fees are as follows:

    • Adult (21+) Player Registration Fee: $49.99
    • One child between the ages of 10-20 may be registered by a parent or guardian for FREE (limit one) when the adult pays for their own Adult Player Registration Fee.
    • Children and teens ages 10-20 the registration fee is $25.

Late Registration Fees, Tournament Players

Starts Wednesday, November 13 through Monday, November 18 (ending at midnight). Fees are as follows:

    • Adult (21+) Player Registration Fee: $54.99
    • One child between the ages of 10-20 may be registered by a parent or guardian for FREE (limit one) when the adult pays for their own Adult Player Registration Fee.
    • Children and teens ages 10-20 the registration fee is $29.

Last Minute Registration Fees, Tournament Players

Starts Tuesday, November 19 through Saturday morning, November 23. Fees are as follows:

    • Adult (21+) Player Registration Fee: $69.99
    • One child between the ages of 10-20 may be registered by a parent or guardian for FREE (limit one) when the adult pays for their own Adult Player Registration Fee.
    • Children and teens ages 10-20 the registration fee is $35.

Sunday – Tournament Playoffs

The top 32 players per manufacturer’s game from Saturday’s tournament qualify for Sunday’s playoffs (no additional fees).  There will be playoffs (best of three) and champion (best of five) for each board type, as well as an end of day WTHA Multi-Board Championship.  It is possible to win multiple awards and cash prizes.  Stiga games will be prepared to meet international tournament standards.  Stiga players may bring their own “international” players to use in the playoffs.   The duration of all playoff games for all manufacturer’s games will be five minutes per game. (SuperChexx’ game clock will be set to five minutes).

  • Manufacturer Championships (3)
  • There will be a playoff series and champion per manufacturer’s game: Stiga, SuperChexx, and SoHo.
    • The top three finalists per manufacturer will earn an award and cash prize.
  • WTHA Multi-Board Championship*
    • The top three players, nine (9) total, from the manufacturer’s playoffs qualify
    • The top three finalists will earn an award and a cash prize.
    • *Details will be provided at a future date

Hotels – We offer a rebate for our out of town guests staying at a hotel within the city of Buffalo, Erie or Niagra Counties, or Fort Erie, Ontario.

  • Receive a $10 rebate on your Tournament Registration Fee (players only) by providing your hotel receipt with your name from a hotel, date, and location within the city of Buffalo, Erie or Niagra Counties, or Fort Erie, Ontario.
  • Must be confirmed by WTHA with hotel.
  • Expect 14-day processing.
